Columbus Police will be conducting two sobriety checkpoints Friday into Saturday.

The first will be located at Livingston Ave. at S. Grant Ave. (Click for Map) near the downtown area. It will run from 9 to 11 p.m Friday night.

A second will be operated on Neil Ave. at W. Nationwide Blvd. (Click for Map) in the Arena District. It will run from 1 to 3 a.m. Saturday.

“These are major arterial roadways with freeway access through both residential and business districts, and are coupled with significant rates of impaired driving crashes,” Sergeant Michael Smith said.
