Columbus Police will conduct two (2) sobriety checkpoints tonight:
The first will be from 9 to 11 p.m. on S. High Street at Southgate Drive (Click for Map View), and the second will be on E. Livingston Avenue at Barnett Road (Click for Map View) from 1 to 3 a.m. Saturday.
Police say that 16 percent of crashes at the intersection of S. High and Southgate in five years involved an impaired driver. There are three intersections along E. Livingston Avenue with impaired crash rates between 5 and 15 percent.
